Frequently Asked Questions

Entering

Ámame

Is Ámame exclusive to queer people only?

Ámame is proudly queer-centered and sapphic-led—built to prioritize the safety, joy, and connection of LGBTQIA+ folks, especially sapphic women and non-men.

Straight male allies are welcome in limited capacity and by invitation only, usually as a respectful plus-one. This helps ensure that queer energy stays at the heart of every night, and that no one dominates a space that wasn’t built for them.

If you’re coming to support, not to center yourself—you’re welcome here. But remember: this isn’t just a bar. It’s a sanctuary. Come with care.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes, walk-ins are welcome! Entry is subject to venue capacity and cuts off every 1:00 AM

Can I enter if I arrive late?

Yes, as long as we’re within capacity, you can still enter.

What ID do I need to bring?

Any valid ID that displays your sex and date of birth.

Can i take photos inside Ámame?

Yes, you can take photos inside Ámame, but please be mindful of others’ privacy. Always ask for consent before including anyone in your photos, and avoid capturing individuals who haven’t agreed to be photographed. This helps maintain the safe and respectful environment that Ámame strives to provide for all guests.
